Black Mountain Thunder is located at Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area Evarts Trailhead. Customers wishing to ride Black Mountain Thunder Zipline will need to check in at the Black Mountain Office & General Store (pictured).

    Harlan is located at the intersection of US HWY 421 and 119 in southeastern Kentucky. From US 421 in the City Harlan (look for the Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area), take Kentucky HWY 38 eight miles to Evarts and then turn onto Kelly Street directly after the railroad crossing entering town. Follow the signs for Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area two miles to the trailhead.

    Customer visiting from the Putney Trailhead will need to ride across the mountain to Evarts Trailhead and check in at the Black Mountain Office & General Store. Reservations cannot be made at the Putney Trailhead.
