The Last Weekend of Spooky Season

It’s been a season filled with the ghostly, ghastly, and ghoulish but all spooky things must come to an end. As we approach the last weekend of spooky season in Harlan County, we’ve put together a list of all the frightening fun happening this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so you can make enjoy every scary second of fun before Halloween ghosts us.

Friday October 27

-Haunted Mini-Golf at Kingdom Come State Park runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Go after dark to get the full effect of the Halloween lights along the way.

-Fright Nights at Kingdom Come State Park is a haunted experience so terrifying that it isn’t recommended for children under 8 years old. The haunted house is open 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

-SKCTC’s Haunted Mine on the Harlan Campus taps into the deep dark fear of the deep dark mines. Tours run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

-Butcher Holler Spook House at Cranks is a screaming good time from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

-The Harlan County Jeepers are kicking off their JeepFest weekend with a Friday night meet & greet including a FREE downtown ghost tour with Bloody Harlan Tours. The tour leaves First Street at 9 p.m.

-English Creek Stables has transformed from a quiet, peaceful horse farm to a blood curdling barn! Enjoy this haunted horse stable from 9 p.m. to Midnight

Saturday October 28

-Haunted Mini-Golf at Kingdom Come State Park runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Go after dark to get the full effect of the Halloween lights along the way.

-Crawdad-O-Ween combines music, vendors, costume contests, reptile show, and more with a haunted house. Stop in from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

-Fright Nights at Kingdom Come State Park is a haunted experience so terrifying that it isn’t recommended for children under 8 years old. The haunted house is open 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
